Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Daily closures can also occur during periods of inclement weather in spring and fall. The Eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park is located 45 minutes from Mammoth Lakes. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. We paid top dollar over the winter break for a ski trip. The hotel is ok. It was clean but not great. They did the minimum on upgrading this older hotel. Looks like new flooring was put in the rooms but needs more refreshing. Our first room had no heat and a tv that didn’t work. Fortunately the man on the evening shift was very helpful & found a room for us. The carbon monoxide detector kept going off and we did not sleep very well. We tried to take the battery out of the detector but it wouldn’t budge.

We really like to stay here. Very clean, personnel was very nice, check-in very easy and the breakfast is pretty good. Definitely we will stay here again!
