Front desk staff was rude and difficult on arrival, which set the to endor our stay. Watch out for the non-refundable pet fee on top of the various damage and cleaning deposits, which seemed predatory. The rest of the lodging expirece was not very great either. Its cheep but not good.

It's our new regular spot in Ashland!
This was our second stay at the Stratford Inn and we had a great time again! The folks who work there are so kind and helpful - the woman at the front desk and the woman running the breakfast were both the most friendly people that I've encountered at a hotel. They've done some nice updates to the rooms and it's just a comfy and easy place to stay in Ashland. We walked to dinner and around town the next day - everything is close and easy.
