We were at Samsara for a week. In that week we moved room two times. The mattresses are about 4" thick, and eventually they moved us to the (new side), which isn't really new. The mattresses however, were better. When we got to our new clean room, someones greasy hand/fingerprints were on the headboard? I asked housekeeping and they said they would get it, it was still there when we left on day 7. The food is VERY limited. If you like starch, carbs, grease, this is the place for you. Even the veggies had grease in them. My stomach is still recovering from there very little food we did eat off of the buffet. The female bartenders were not friendly. Did not smile or speak. The drivers though, they were incredible. Good all around guys. The ocean speaks for itself in Jamaica, and that is the reason we went so we made the best of a yuck situation because they would not refund us so we could go somewhere else. Travelocity wouldn't even help us.

Overall, I had a lovely stay at Samsara. The staff were wonderfully friendly and the garden bungalow was perfect for my basic needs. The property as a whole, particularly the pool and cliff areas, seem slightly unfinished. This wasn't necessarily bothersome but did make me wonder just how beautiful it could be with a little more investment & freshening up.

We had a excellent time, last minute booking and I always said I wanted to have cliff diving at my resort so I couldn’t ask for more…lol I had a lil issue getting wash clothes but other then that I would def recommend, especially for the price, I did have a rental so I’m was not concerned that it’s in the West End! Only a 10$ cab ride to the beach and they have a shuttle that’s free that goes twice per day to the sister resort Legends on the beach! I would stay again absolutely, I used the comments to make my decision, I’ve been to Jamaica 10 times so I’m aware of all the different places you can stay, I would def stay here again

Unfortunately our Stay at the samsara resort was very disappointing, our first night we came back to our room and there were ants everywhere on the dresser the walls, floors, bathroom and even in our luggage, we notified the staff and they came to spray the room but only to find more ants the following day, they had to respray our room for the first three days of our visit. The food was rather disappointing and not enjoyable. Majority of the staff were friendly and accommodating but overall a very disappointing stay at the Samsara resort.
