Great hotel for the French Quarter
It wasn’t their fault that the doorhandle broke, but they took care of us so nicely, and got us a new room that was even better. It’s a very old building with old world charm, and these things are going to happen. The people at the front desk were great also. Housekeeping was excellent as well. Despite the fact that it was Mardi Gras, it was always clean in the common areas. It was a fabulous location. Close to the action, but far enough that you weren’t kept up all night and didn’t feel uncomfortable walking in the neighborhood.

There aren’t any basic convenience in the guest room given the price, no microwave, no small refrigerator, no hot water heater. The room cleaning lady took the dirty towels without putting any clean ones back. We had hard time to communicate with them when we tried to get some clean towels. We were very disappointed.

The room was clean. Rugs needed cleaning though. Comfy bed. Good amenities. It is next to Bourbon St. So it is noisy until 2or 3 am.
