The building was quite beautiful. I especially like the lobby area and the bedroom use of wall color and rehab. The airconditioning in the lobby was so cold that it was not possible to sit in the bar area without extra layers of clothing. The breakfast was very disappointing for $20. It reminded me of the breakfasts at the motels on I-95 going south that come with the room

We got there on Tuesday when there was a big freeze and the room we had was unable to warm us up as it was stuck on air conditioning but the following morning the week front desk was great and they took great care of us and moved us. The hotel is beautiful and has lots of charm but it's in transition. Maybe because of covid it was let to run down and they are now renovating it. They are trying to make it nice but it needs some more work.

This was my 10th time staying there, and it is always such a wonderful place to stay. It’s much more peaceful there than places closer to the tourist areas. But you can still easily access them.
