The property is really cute and unique, but the lighting in the rooms isn’t the best and the tv is difficult to work. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Great location.

The carpet lining the hall floors appears old and stained. The hall floors are uneven. You may feel like you’ve already had a drink or two as you proceed to your room. We loved the brick walls and the hotel room decor. I overlooked a sign that the hotel public bathroom was out of order (the out of order sign was placed on top of 10 foot door). As I was the restroom in one of the 5 stalls - a male hotel representative stepped in the restroom calling me out in an unprofessional manner asking me why I was using the restroom that was out of order. I explained that I had overlooked the sign. The stall was clean and showed no signs of being out of order. I apologized as he continued to berate me for using the restroom. I apologized again while he continue his rant. This incident occurred on the weekend prior to Mardi Gras; therefore , the rates were a little inflated. We will not book another stay at this Hotel.
