First room we got too reeked of cigarettes! And when we booked (a while ago) we booked a king. The room was a queen. We informed the front desk and was moved rooms. The new room was smaller but didn’t smell. We inquired about the king bed we booked and staff stated that due to a system error of over booking king beds they don’t have anymore.

From the moment I first came in to check in, the staff was all so kind, friendly and helpful! I was in town for a funeral, so, not under the best circumstances, but ALL the staff was so helpful and welcoming, it really made a difference!!! Jadii, Jasmine, Jonah and Krystal stood out a going above and beyond!!! The breakfast was even great! Good options, delicious food, and even lots of gluten free choices. I was so thankful! The neighborhood was safe, and close to subways, and a convenient place to get a car. A short walk to the Brooklyn bridge, and a beautiful 45 minute walk into Manhattan. I can't say enough good things about this place, and I hope to stay here again next time I'm in New York!

Nice stay. You definitely get the NYC vibe at this location. You can hear horns honking, emergency vehicles all throughout the day & night. Breakfast was just “ok.” Staff was friendly. Check-in was easy. Room was small, but typical for NYC hotels. Location was convenient to shopping/restaurants and close to public transit system. I don’t recommend a car because there is NO PARKING unless you’re willing to pay a lot of $$$

Floor soaked in room - bad hygiene
Booked a two night stay as we were having a company work shop week. Our company use the hotel frequently. I checked in and only quickly dropped off my suitcase before heading for company dinner. When I came back I stepped into a large soaking wet puddle at the side of my bed. I called the reception and informed them and asked to be transferred to another room. I was told I couldn’t be transferred and that they would have to send a technician to take a look. I was concerned about room hygiene as the wet area was next to the bathroom and the room did smell of mold/ not fresh. I waited for a while, but was very tired and decided I would check out and go to another hotel. The receptionist said I was good to go. Never informed me they would be charging me for one night, but anyway chose to do so. I called the hotel and asked why and was told that because the technician had wife’s up the water from the rug I should have waited for them and it was my fault that I didn’t give them time to mop up the water spill. In my mind I did not know the source of the water spill, but I did not want to take the chance that my night sleep would be ruined having to deal with a spill and potential hygiene issues. I don’t think the hotel should charge, but I was told by the manager that she had decided I should be because I wasn’t patient with them and that it was anyway just a small water spill. I think it’s bad service and therefore the rating
