So, this is the first of 3 reviews for our stays. This is the first so I will try to let go of all of the negative and be more positive as the trip goes on. All staff has been extremely friendly and nice. Housekeeping is excellent!!! Bartenders Mo and Janelle are a joy and so friendly!! Front desk has been super sweet, but obviously don't listen or don't care in certain instances, so not sure what happened to mess up our reservations - not once, not twice, but 3 separate times. And another 1/2 mess-up. All was fixed, but it was not a complicated issue. It should not have taken so much time, so many times nor should any computer in 2024 be that slow. Elevators were a problem. Needing a key for the lobby bathroom was annoying. No food and beverage between 11am and 5pm. No room service. Will not allow Uber eats or any delivery to come to your door. You MUST wait on the ridiculously slow elevators to come down and get your food yourself. Had I know , I would have just walked to get food rather than pay delivery fees and a large tip. Poción is under the guise of "safety" but let's get real...if that was the case, have one of the hotel staff milling about bring it up. Again, this probably would not have annoyed me so much if we hadn't already had issues. They are generous with the bottled water - $30 worth a day for that resort fee....

AWFUL EXPIRIENCE
I am writing to formally request a refund for my recent booking through Hotels.com, where I encountered significant service issues. On my arrival at approximately 1 PM, I was informed that my room was not ready, but would be by 3 PM. I told the kind receptionist (an amazing btw) that I would explore the city, and I left my luggage with the hotel. I also saw the rooftop! However, upon my return at 7 PM, I faced an unfortunate and distressing situation. The new male receptionist on duty was extremely unprofessional, rude and unaccommodating. Despite explaining the absence of my luggage ticket and offering my suitcase key and identification for verification, he refused to return my luggage. Additionally, he denied me access to my prepaid room, citing the absence of a physical credit card, despite my offer to provide digital confirmation of payment. This dude left me stranded on the streets of New York, without accommodation, in the cold and without internet access on a Saturday night in an unfamiliar city. I was completely unsafe, sacred and traumatized. Given these circumstances and the fact that I was denied the services I had already paid for, I am requesting a full refund AT LEAST. This experience was not only inconvenient but also traumatic, and it did not meet the standards of hospitality and customer service one would expect. Please let me know the process to proceed with this refund. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. Sincerely, Fernanda

Great property, and super cozy room with only 8 rooms per floor. Only issue was “sounds” that would travel through air return ducts between rooms. Could hear your neighbours like they were in your bed beside you at times. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay. A good quiet neighbour would have made it a 5/5 stay.
