Great hotel in area convenient to shopping, the subway and restaurants. Very historic. Staff was great. Small rooms as you would expect in NYC. Ours was extremely warm, but it worked out. I definitely recommend.

This hotel is in a great location, centrally located near Washington Park and right near the subway station. It's a great value with comfortable and clean digs and well-kept premises with updates even though it's a historic hotel. Also made good use of the small space in the room so you don't feel cramped, which is essential in NYC. Friendly were happy and helpful. I've spent a lot more to stay at "fancier" places in the city, but you're not getting much more for the price. This hotel was recommended by a friend and I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

This hotel is in a great location and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The bell hop helped us with parking and loading our car. Parking was discounted at nearby garage. Once it was parked you can't go in and out of it so bring all your stuff with you. Hotel was clean will definitely go there again

This is our second stay at the Washington Square Hotel and it won't be our last. The surrounding neighborhood has improved as there are less desperately poor folks on the streets than we saw on our last visit this summer. The hotel is undergoing repairs so there was a concern about construction noise. Our first night that turned out to be a problem. However when we complained Dinnnella Collado was able to move us to a more quiet room which we much appreciated. The staff in all cases was great and each made an effort to make our stay enjoyable. We look forward to a return visit.
