The rooms could use a renovation. The beds are so uncomfortable and there is zero air circulation. The staff is friendly and helpful. Walls are paper thin and you can hear the neighboring rooms conversation as if you’re in the same room. Great location and easy walk to everything. Despite the outdated room, I’d still stay here again for the price and convenience.

30$ “resort fee” is absurd as the saunas are gone, no more robes in room, bar is closed.

Quick getaway
We stayed for 2 nights in the heart of Newport. It is a nice hotel. Comfortable bed. But not many amenities for guests who stay more than 1 night. Our room included 2 complimentary bottles of water, but they were not replaced on the 2nd day. We were given a free drink or coffee in their "restaurant" but just for one evening or morning. They took the trash and replaced the towels, but didn’t make the bed. The TV and remote are very outdated!

Overall, it was an enjoyable stay over the long weekend. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We chose it due to its location in downtown Newport and accessibility to dining and shops, and it didn’t disappoint. We knew it wasn’t going to be the most luxurious accommodations. However, the room, especially the bathroom, and in particular the bathtub needs updating. The shower curtain hanging so low into the tub felt unhygienic and unsafe, as a potential slip and fall. The mattresses could use replacing as well. None of this detracted from our stay and overall experience.
