Drive ways needed paving, staff was friendly and very helpful. Most of the staff did not speak English (Spanish). I did not speak, but they were very willing to help. Not necessarily clear about the difference between the Crater and Hotel? Had a good experience, would like to see the new pool when finished.

I booked this reservation because I saw that it had an indoor pool. Got there and pool is under construction. They offered us to go across the street to another resort to swim. Don't want to drive or walk in the cold to swim. Simon's restaurant was okay. They offered two sandwiches, burger and turkey. They had pasta (not interested). They offered a steak at $40.00 (too rich of me). Specialty drinks were delicious. In the end they offered a discount for a future stay. I took the discounted rate for this stay. Probably not going to be back, it was a weekend getaway for our busy family My kids wanted to swim.
