Nice room and view, grounds need work
The room was updated and comfortable. The ocean view was very nice. The grounds/parking lot and outside of the building (stairs and walk ways) definitely needed work/repairs. The wooden steps were slippery when wet.

We have stayed here before and really enjoyed the place. We got in late and were put in a room beside another couple. They had friends over and the noise and banging around was horrible. Its an older place but has been renovated, the walls are quite thin. After three calls between 1:30 am and 2:30 am they were finally told to keep quiet. Normally this would be ok but in the morning the person at the front desk told us that they have talked to them before about noise complaints. When asked about that they are long term renters and they are known to be noisy we were told. We asked if there were other empty rooms and were told yes. So then asked why they would put us beside that room if there were other empty rooms that we could have had a decent night sleep. They just offered us a discount on our next stay, which there wont be a next stay.

Really nice staff. Clean and pleasant room, though quite loud at night because of thin walls. Had to wear ear plugs to fall sleep. Would stay again to enjoy beautiful view.

Right on the beach so great location. Staff fabulous and accommodated our requests. But motel is old and dated. Carpet needs replacing, outdated furnishings that feel like a million people have used them. I imagine in summer, the location makes it a better option. In winter, not much going for it. Staff to be commended for doing their best with a motel that's long overdue a makeover.
