Winter getaway in the Laurentians!

Available only in winter from February 2nd to March 16th 2024, the Blue Moon in Prévost is ideally located halfway between the city and the ski mountains (Avila, St-Sauveur, Olympia, etc.). You can practice a multitude of winter activities nearby: fishing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, downhill skiing, tube sliding, dog sledding, tree to tree, hiking, snowmobiling, Quads, ATVs, etc.


Animals: Note that dogs are allowed with restrictions.

Complete bedding is provided as well as towels for the showers.

The kitchen is very well equipped. You will find, among other things, an espresso coffee machine, a coffee grinder, a food processor as well as equipment for the fondue (gas) in addition to all the usual accessories in a kitchen. In general, some basic elements are there such as: sugar, salt, pepper, spices, coffee filter, cellophane and aluminum foil, vegetable oil, etc…

During your stay, you can arrive independently and we will stay in touch with you by text or email throughout your stay.

No neighbors in the back, only a large lot ending in a stream that flows even in very cold weather, it is the ideal place to relax in the heart of winter! SPA is available year-round.

Located across the street, Lake Echo allows you to indulge in frozen lake walking and ice fishing, and possibly skating if a trail is cleared by the Good Samaritans. An ice rink and access for snowmobiles is also available at the Lac Écho recreation center. And the P'tit train du Nord track is 2 km away.

There are a multitude of restaurants and grocery stores, pharmacies and shops of all kinds nearby.

FOR YOUR ERRANDS:

Before arriving at the chalet, if you are coming from Montreal, you can stop to do your shopping in the village of Prévost where you will find all the usual shops (IGA, SAQ, Metro and several grocery stores).

We also suggest you take a trip to Le P'tit Magasin Shawbridge for cold cuts, meats and pizzas and craft beers; The Lafayette mills for the bakery.

The chalet is not specifically intented for people in wheelchairs. But There are only two steps to climb to enter the house where there is a master bedroom and a bathroom adjoining the common areas which makes the ground floor accessible to people with reduced mobility.
The Blue Moon chalet is perfect for accommodating 6 people with its King bedroom on the ground floor and another Queen bed in the living room on the garden level plus its attic bedroom on the 2nd floor (2 single beds), and up to 8 people with a double sofa-bed in the new lounge in the garage.

The main floor, entirely open concept, includes a very bright kitchen thanks to the windows of its cathedral roof (from where we can see the moon) whose 6 ft X 3 ft island transforms into a dining room. can accommodate 8 people comfortably seated. And which turns into a ping pong table!

A bar area with pantry and mini fridge, a living room with a large reclining sofa, a smart TV with Bell Fibe, the main bathroom and the master bedroom with King bed complete the ground floor.

Another attic bedroom is located upstairs with a single bed and there is another single bed (trundle bed) which is hidden in a drawer slid under the bed. Ideal for children / teenagers or single person with its intimate bathroom.

The 2nd room with Queen bed is at the garden level. There is a 100-inch motorized screen as well as a projector equipped with a Chromecast to watch your Netflix or our Bell Fibe. An office space is also installed there for teleworking.

The garage has been transformed into a habitable living space, heated by the wood fireplace and an extra heater, which offers another sleeping area with its double sofa bed by the fire!
It is essential to have a vehicle to move around.
