Its a beautiful property, nice pools and gardens and a gorgeous beach, however the front desk is a disaster, extremely unprofessional, not able to give a simple answer or solve a problem, we attended the sale/ time share program they offered, the reward was a free surf and turf dinner on the beach, well the salesperson believe his name was angel was by far the worst, we told him that we were going to think about it he got up and left, no hand shaking or i'll check with you guys later, unreal!!! Got the dinner not at the beach but a restaurant and when checking out the next day i had to $121.00 in order to be able to check out, i had to pay for that dinner, spent about 45 minutes at the front explaining that we attented the meeting to check with concierge that we made arrangements with well after no legitimate answer they couldnt find anyone and they couldn't find the voucher for the dinner, i had to put the charge in my card or i was going to miss my flight, needless to say how upset and dissapointed at Melia we are, will never go back there nor would i ever recommend it, Beautiful hotel and gorgeous grounds but the complete lack of training and attitude by the personnel makes it a nightmare. I'm on vacation, paying a lot money dont need all these hassle,. Definitely not place that I would go back to and do yourself a favor go to another resort.
