Friendly staff, somewhat location challenged
The staff at Jetpark were consistently polite, friendly, and helpful. If all the staff I would encounter in my travels were like that of Jetpark, my travels would be so much more enjoyable. My room was a good size and logically laid out. Some of the public areas, especially around the elevators were quite beautiful. This swimming pool was quite small and more of a kiddie pool than for adult lap swimming. Jet Park offers complementary passes at an excellent fitness center, but it is not nearby. It is a car ride or a bus ride away. I purchased the Continental breakfast, which was fine enough, though the only coffee they offer is instant. The biggest negative of the property is its location: it sits at the “Burger King” part of the main street as opposed to the high end section toward the north. I was OK with walking north when I needed it. I’m not sure everyone would be though.

10 min walk from hotel to Te Pa Tu Māori cultural experience shuttle. Hotel was clean and we had use of laundry. Only one washer and dryer so had to wait for them to become free but they worked well. Bathrooms were updated and spacious.
