Nice for the price!
I booked a king bed room for an evening getaway. For the price, it was a great stay. The room was recently renovated with fresh paint, wood/laminate floors and the bathroom was nicely redone as well. The bed was super comfy. Probably the comfiest bed I've ever slept in at a hotel! My only complaints are that the inside of the hotel did smell a bit different. Can't pinpoint what the smell was. There was also no trash can in the bathroom which the bathroom was kinda small, but I think one could still fit in there somehow. And the side entrance was not secure at all. Anyone couldn't walk right in without a key which is a bit worrisome. The breakfast was okay. Had all of the basic items! I don't think the toaster worked at all. The staff was friendly! I found out when I got there that there was a $50 refundable deposit that I was not expecting. Wasn't on the hotels.com website and I don't believe it's on the actual hotels website. I panicked at first but realized it was okay since it would be refunded. For being an older building it was nice. I would recommend it to out of town family.

You get what you pay for. There's a surprise $50 deposit at check-in that is "company policy" and not shown anywhere I could find in the booking information against a $55 per night room. Breakfast is later on the week-ends but a sign is posted saying it's at 7am instead of 6. However at 7am there was still no breakfast available. By 10 after there was some very limited offerings. We are in motels/hotels only about 30-40 nights per year so we travel but not a ton. That being said, this was the worst we've seen or experienced in years and the only one I was compelled to write a review about. Buyer beware on this one

Trouble place
They had to keep giving me new rooms as the doors would not open the second room door only opened up the the managers key card and it wasn’t cleaned at all inside the room the worker said I could still use the room but I would have to clean it and if I left my room I would have to leave my door open or wait for someone to let me back in it. I told them no I will just take my money back please and go to a different place. I was told I would not be getting my money back so I was put into a different room and told not to leave the room or I would not be allowed back in the hotel. I will not be going back to this hotel ever again.
