Great for a night
The old building is part of the charm but my room faced the street and the traffic was quite loud all night. Otherwise it’s a great place for a night. Ocho was excellent. Will definitely check out the mezcal speak easy in the basement next time!

What a great experience from the moment we checked in. Very friendly service from all of the Staff. Really enjoyed the ambiance and unique atmosphere. We missed out on Ocho, but Shane was gracious in serving us mimosas in the morning. We would definitely recommend to family and friends. Plan on visiting the Ocho and basement speak easy. Would love to return and stay in a different room the next time for the special uniqueness. Wonderful in every way.

Overall the property was really beautiful and my stay was very peaceful. This hotel is near a lot of really beautiful parks, the Pearl district, downtown, etc. I think the bathrooms probably need renovated a little but the room was very clean when I checked in and I saw staff attentively cleaning every day. I do wish the staff had been a little friendlier and that there were some more small amenities offered, even if it was just a free box of chocolate lol. Like I was by myself at the hotel and came in with scraped knees and the staff member at the desk didn't even ask if I was okay? So idk, it was definitely in a very pretty area, very convenient, but I just wish I had felt a little more welcomed. I work in customer service so I definitely understand that most people in the service industry are burned out and it can be a weird social dynamic, but as a solo traveler I felt a little isolated in a way I normally don't feel.
