Perfect location
The location of the hotel is perfect for access to the Riverwalk and the Alamo. We upgraded to a river view room and I’m glad we did. It was relaxing just people watching from our balcony. We were able to walk to the Alamo. The hotel offers valet parking but we parked in the garage directly across the street for $10/day.

I am a single female traveler. I was put in an exterior room of the hotel. I was on the street with a door, across from the parking garage, despite booking weeks in advance and checking in at 4:30pm. I could not open my curtains. I listened to my neighbour vomit the first morning and the garbage bins dropping outside at 6:30am on my second morning. I tried to eat breakfast in the hotel and was told it would be a 45 minute wait due to a private function. Great location, historic vibe but services were unimpressive. Wifi at a cost.
