Beautiful tropical vibe hotel in Shelter Island area of San Diego. Convenient to everything - airport, downtown, attractions etc - without the noise & crowds. Staff was beyond nice and helpful. There is no elevator but is only 2 floors.

Quiet and Relaxing Stay for Business Travelers
Staff and services were excellent, the room was clean and comfortable. I also felt safe as a solo female traveler. The area is really quiet but there are many dining options around. Just double check hours during the off season. The walking path around Shelter Island is beautiful. Besides the occasional fog horn (must be season and weather specific -- you are on the bay...) it was a far superior choice than the downtown hotel stay options for being just 15 mins away (less than 10 from the airport).

I absolutely love this hotel! My daughter attends college in San Diego so we stay here whenever we visit and it feels like you’re in Hawaii. The property is beautiful from the landscaping to the pool and outdoor fire pit areas to the restaurant which serves an amazing breakfast. I love this hotel and will continue to stay here each time we are in town!
