Hotel staff was excellent. Great Expedia perks, upgraded, given a bag of goodies. Hotel has a scent bar where you pick a scent and they give you some for the room. I ran out of toothpaste and they had some at the front desk. Also developed blisters from all the sightseeing and they had bandaids. Helped me out with something getting printed out. Only cons are there is no microwave or coffeemaker/hot water in the room. Location is so close to union square which is ideal but if you go one block in the wrong direction you’ll end up in Tenderloin.

Pleasant property, good value for the price, on the edge of a slightly rundown neighborhood (but not exceptional). The hotel is near many sights, restaurants and attractions. Our room was a very spacious suite on the top floor, with great views and very comfortable furnishings. The bathroom was a bit small, but not a problem. We did not eat at the restaurant, which was not inviting. There are many very good restaurants nearby. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and felt it was more than worth the price.

Definitely one of the best options at the given price for a hotel in the center of San Francisco close enough to union square, if you don’t mind the room not being like huge. One problem with the hotel is that it doesn’t come with a parking, so make sure you do some work around that if it’s something you need.

Catherine at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. My room everyday was impeccably cleaned. Any need was met with urgency and kindness. Everyone was friendly. There is a security guard at the hotel entrance who is active at all times. They do not allow door dash to come to drop at the door but had their security guard to keep patrons safe!!!! The area is not anywhere you want to walk around in at night or by yourself. However the hotel cannot help that. Very affordable as well. Great place to stay
