This is a relatively new Hampton Inn that offers a few more amenities than most Hampton Inns, and is very convenient to the SJO airport. Extra amenities include a travel planning host, gift shop, pool, restaurant with option for in-room dining, and guest laundry. Shuttle to/from airport runs 24/7, every 15 minutes, making this an excellent option for late arrival and/or early departure from SJO. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again in the future. The only negative is that the hotel's proximity to the airport means there is aircraft noise, busy roads, and few walkable options for restaurants. Stick with the hotel restaurant.
