The beds are a deep mattress on top of a platform so they are quite high and it was difficult for me to get on and off the bed, and I’m 5’8”. The shower is nice size but you can’t open the glass door closest to the shower controls so you just stand inside the shower and under the shower head in order to turn on the water. I was barely able to do it without being forced to start my shower with cold water.

The decor was so cute! Love the mid century vibes. I’m a stickler for cleanliness, so I didn’t give five stars because I don’t like visible dust and fingerprints. I disinfected the high touch areas my self and cleaned up the fingerprints.

Probably wouldn’t stay again
This was our second stay for visits to SCU. It’s clean and updated. Staff was friendly but unhelpful when they ran out of hairdryers (which must be checked out from front desk, and having at least as many hairdryers as there are rooms seems like basic planning). Wifi was accessible but slow and cell signal in room was limited. Not ideal when heading to events or planning for work. Functional and pleasant for a quick trip if you’re laid back about details.
