First experience with Even. Was like an upscale Hampton Inn. Simple and convenient with unexpected nice touches. Perfect for a road trip.

Room smells like a sweaty gym locker. Maybe, just maybe, it’s because you put workout equipment IN THE ROOMS? Brilliant concept. Let’s put workout gear in a stuffy box and tell them it’s for their personal health. While the next guy has to breathe their perspiration aromas. Breakfast is not complimentary, expect to bring $20 min for basic options. I will say the AC is nice and cold and blows loud to drown out the slamming doors, but this unit, when it shuts off sounds like the showcase wheel on Price of Right. Dink-dink-dink-dink-dink…dink. I think the fan blade is hitting something metal on spin down. Works great for disrupting your deep REM sleep.

Nice place to stay
This is a good place to stay especially if you like to work out. This is my second stay here and my only complaint was my room was right next to the ice machine! LOL I guess people fill coolers in the morning before going to the beach? A bit noisey but I've enjoyed both stays and would definitely stay there again.

A Good 3-Star Hotel
I just recently had a 12 day stay in the Lakewood Ranch area to help my boss and his wife settle into their new home. After 8 or 9 hours each day, it was nice to get back to the EVEN Hotel. Great shower and bathroom; comfy bed, i was hoping for a comfy chair to watch tv out of but it wasn't all that comfy. Staff was friendly and while I required little maid service, it was nice and clean each day with everything replenished. If you expect fresh sheets in a 12 say stay that didn't happen but that was fine for me. Im going back in a couple of weeks and am planning on staying there again.
