STAY FAR AWAY FROM SONDER
DO NOT BOOK HERE! Worst travel experience we’ve ever had. This is not a regular hotel. They do not have a front desk. Every entrance code they gave us was wrong. After an hour and a half of trying to get in they told us they gave our room to someone else because one of their other buildings had a leak. This was after we had to walk from a parking garage almost a mile away with all of our stuff and waited in the rain and they just said oops nvm we’re going to send you somewhere else. Awful company, awful customer service.

Sonder is a bit of a drag to work with: didn’t realize that there is another step to reserve beyond Hotels.com. You have to provide scans of IDs, do a face scan, and give your credit card info again. Apartment was well situated, walkable to most historical district attractions. Unit is comfortable and well supplied. A little spartan but fine for our purposes. Some noise from restaurant across the alley which is why they provide a white noise generator and earplugs. Garage is about 4 blocks away - a reasonable walk. Area is safe and clean.
