This is our second stay. We like the area for the foo and closeness of MRT. The Property is old. Room and corridor smells. We had to keep the AC on all the time to stop the smell. Cleaning the carpets may help.

We had a good experience overall. Just a minor issue with the bath tub in our suite. It took awhile to drain the water so we didn’t use it again after one time use.

Sanitation on handling clean utensils was not properly done. One of the employees was wearing rubber gloves in cleaning the table but was still wearing the same gloves in handling of clean utensils on each tables.

Very average
Marked down mainly because the executive lounge is a farce. It is a noisy open plan small area within the main lobby. Service really is 2 star, the staff could benefit from some training, and smiling would help. Often only one person so you'll have to wait. The food offerings are very limited, unimaginative and often run out. It's not worth the extra money even by Singapore standards. However, if you want two hours of free drinks including alcohol then it pays for itself. The whole hotel is frayed and shabby afound the edges, showing it's age. Black mould on some walls, leaky aircon vents, including in the " executive lounge " and generally tatty areas. You pay a premium in Singapore we all know that but sadly Furama City Centre no longer offers what is expected.
