The facility is undergoing renovation and the new rooms are bright, airy and well decorated. Note: The name on the signage is no longer the Best Western but the Sonoma Valley Inn. Check in was friendly and efficient. I was surprised to be charged for parking (it is a motel-like accommodation). The HVAC was efficient but somewhat surprisingly loud. Other than that, I would recommend it and will reserve again when in the area.

I realize best Western was undergoing some renovations, and I understand that. The hot tub wasn’t working well, and it wasn’t fixed the whole week we were there, that was disappointing.

We have stayed here before when we go wine tasting in Sonoma. It's a short walk to the plaza. The free breakfast is good. We love the hot tub. Be sure you have a room on the first floor with a convenient sliding glass door to the garden.

I don't understand the five-dollar parking pass thing. As I understand,non-guests were using the parking spaces. So I had to pay $5.00 for a pass. It's just a piece of paper. Only one place to get it. It should have just been handed to me. I know it's just five bucks, but if I hadn't paid it you would have towed the car of a legitimate guest. I hope you choke on it.
