It's an old property but it is in great shape! Rooms are very clean. We like it bc you can walk around to all the little shops and there is a trolley stop right on the property so we didn't have to drive at all during our stay. We got there at 4pm and check in took less than 5 min. We were able to buy trolley tickets at check in also.

Could be so much better.
Although the hotel was close to everything, the hotel itself was quite rundown and the grounds were dirty. full of weeds and could use a paint job. Could be so so much nicer with a little cleaning and mai tenance.

The location is the biggest selling point... it's on the edge of a beautiful, quiet neighborhood with picturesque Magnolia Drive and the Fountain of Youth Park, and in 15 min. Walking distance from historic downtown. The photos of the hotel are a bit misleading... It's not at all what I would call a "villa", closer to a 3-star hotel... A bit older and the beds were lumpy. Small things. But would still stay again because you can't beat the location! Very quiet and safe.
