Good secure location in the barrio, but the unfortunate thing there were no safe in the room or hotel management office A troubling issue for someone that came in for the Jewelry show had to switch hotels

This is a great site to visit the Tucson Gem and Mineral show from. Rooms are small but clean and staff is very friendly and helpful. It is rather noisy from the I-10 which is very close. Overall, nice place to stay for the show.

I stayed at the Tuxon for an extended business trip and it was comfortable, well designed and the staff was great. I came in a day early and used an app (other then hotels.com) on my phone to secure a deeply discounted rate. I was worried that the use of a deeply discounted app may have swayed them to not treat me the same, but it was just the opposite. The Manager Kristen gave me props for finding such a good deal and then told me she called the apps service and corrected the rate error immediately after my booking! Kristen then worked with me to not only get me into a room that would link up to my pre-existing 9 day booking but was able to connect me to the best suited room for my accessibility and work needs. She was a blast to work with and it's obvious the staff is as friendly as they are because they have great management. I ended up booking even one more night at the end of my trip so I could enjoy the facility for a day after my very busy and hardworking trip. Again, Kristen made sure to accommodate the change (event though the hotel was very full) and matched the rate of my original long term booking. I felt valued and taken care of while here. The facility has been updated to be hip and modern, but the hospitality is old school for sure. I do this trip every year, and Kristen and the Tuxon crew has earned my repeat business.
