Room had a musty smell and even though there were very few cars in the garage we had loud neighbors. The sheets and bathroom were clean and so was the rest of the hotel. I would call it fine- but probably not my first choice if I were in the area again.

Housekeeping staff were great. Clean. Solid breakfasts. Pool and hot tub nice. NOISE! Remodel of the exterior was happening right outside our room starting at 7:57 when we get to bed at 2 AM. Last night 2:30 to 4 AM the most foul mouthed and noisy verbal altercation I have ever had the misfortune of hearing. We will never stay here again.

lots of construction being done. Even though it is right next to the train tracks and the freeway, it was quiet when we slept. close to the beach, close to downtown and close to the fairgrounds and the amtrak station. we took the amtrak up from LA and what a nice way to travel and only 0.8 miles from the train station and the fairgrounds.
