Nature lovers and birdwatchers will love the Long Point Wildlife Refuge, eight miles away, which has over 600 acres of beach, dunes, and woodland.

Would not recommend this place
So start i am not one to ever write a review or a bad one at that. This is honestly what happened to me to please read and book at your own risk. I stayed here for a wedding at the end of September with a bunch of friends and was truly disappointed. So overall the location of this home was good. We were only about a 5-10 minute drive from the ferry and local shops. The house itself was not clean. When we walked in the bedroom on the upper floor with the two twin beds had a bunch of dead and alive moths in the room. It was all over the bed, walls, windows and a bunch on the floor. Also looked like there was some type of animal feces as well. The sheets were dirty as well with stains. The main master bedroom had no blinds for privacy and the sheets had major stains on them as well. I was so disguised. We had contacted VRBO and wasn’t given a response until 24hrs later. We had to buy cleaning supplies to wash the sheet and moth balls since there was an infestation all throughout the home. Some of my friends couldn’t even stay at the location because it was so nasty. There is also no fire place. I have been trying to contact the person who takes care of the house and they have been giving me the run around for about 3 weeks now. So unprofessional and I would recommend staying somewhere else.

Perfect Getaway
My partner and I brought a few friends to stay at the Artist's Haven during the Columbus Day weekend so that we could celebrate my partners birthday. The home was beautiful/spacious (loved the artwork) with plenty of parking spaces. There was a WiFi issue when we arrived, but we contacted Vacasa and they had someone at the house within 20 minutes to fix everything. The home, itself, may need a little updating, but it was perfect for us and I would recommend staying here to friends and family.

Great house and amenities. Lots of room for a group of 8. Location is easier with a car, otherwise is nice bike ride or a doable but long walk into Vineyard Haven.

Quiet Gem Nestled In The Trees
This property was wonderfully private and a pleasure to spend time in. It was generous in size and thoughtfully appointed with beautiful art, books, games and videos. We will be back!

Beautiful home in need of maintenance and repairs
This could be a great property but needs a lot of attention. The carpet needs replaced (stains throughout), sheets were old and stained, missing blinds in master bathroom and upstairs bedroom, laundry in unfinished basement, carbon monoxide alarm was chirping (we went to replace the batteries and the unit was damaged), pots in kitchen were nasty and unusable as was the coffee maker. There were also bugs in both bathrooms, and front porch light was broken. Again, this could be a great property, but in the current condition doesn't warrant a better rating.

Horrible condition..
Mould and leaking bathroom in the master bedroom on the first floor - the bathroom was unusable and posed serious health risks to us. Missing window blinds in the master bedroom on the first floor Second bathroom on the first floor - the shower handle was broken as the water was scalding hot and temperature adjustment did not work Second floor bathroom flush did not work properly We were promised an extra level of cleaning but the entire house was dirty and we had to scrub everything after entering the property. Even the towels were dirty which could have been easily washed.

Deferred maintenance. Broken dish washer and kitchen table falling apart. No one came to fix the dish washer so we spent a lot of time doing that. Grill is too small and won’t get warmer than 300 degrees. Otherwise, the house was spacious.
