Life is what you make it
The staff go above and beyond here to make you happy. For that, 10/10. Let’s remember this is Virginia Beach. This area and location is great for convenience, but don’t expect to be pampered. I was very happy with my choice to stay here. It is good and making strides to improve in a sort of trashy city. If you can’t sleep to the sound of casual cars, don’t stay here. However if you’re like me and sleep in any white noise or otherwise, you’ll enjoy your stay. Parking can be a little tight.

The room was nicely renovated and very clean. The staff at the front desk were wonderful and very helpful! The front desk smelled nice and was also very clean. The location was great... parking next to your room and you can walk across the street the a 7-11; super convenient! The only one downside would be the noise from being on a busy, main road. The traffic noise at all times got annoying, but that's not really the hotel's fault... just consider playing a "white noise" video on Youtube from your phone (thats what we did, it worked great!) / or bringing a white noise machine with you to put on at night while you rest / sleep, and you'll be good to go! It was a very nice stay and we will definitely stay here again when we're back in town for another event at the convention center.

This room was reserved for my wife, daughter in law and granddaughter (1 yr old). Upon checking in the room smelled strongly of marijuana, was very dirty to include stained sheets and some type of white substance sprayed over the side of the bed frame. My wife went to the front desk and canceled the reservation. The clerk was very helpful and understanding after being shown pictures of the room. A refund was promised in 7-10 days. Very disappointing given that the rating for the hotel was an 8.2.
