The facility is brand new and very clean. Lots of walkable options for food and drink. Staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful. I've seen some reviews complaining about the lack of blackout curtains but it didn't bother me at all. I'd definitely stay here again.

Very satisfied
Spent a couple days in West Palm before a cruise. The AKA’s location was within walking distance of THE SQUARE, where there’s lots of restaurants and shopping. Also a short walk to the water’s edge. Hotel (and the city as a whole) very clean and well maintained.

Fantastic stay at AKA
I was that the AKA for four nights for business (and a bit of vacation!) in mid-February. The room and amenities were fantastic and I loved having a balcony. The breakfast was great and it was nice having it on the 4th floor where there’s a lot of outdoor space to enjoy. It’s in a good location .. near the Square and an easy Uber or a 25 minute walk to the island.

Not as advertised
Hotel rooms are not as advertised. We booked a one bedroom queen coastal view suite. We had no view at all, we were looking at the interior courtyard of the hotel, we had no balcony as it was represented to have, and we didn't even have a queen bed. Brought this up to the staff and they said that if we stick our heads out of the window we can see the view. Lots of other issues with this hotel as well, including them trying to double charge me and then trying to blame Hotels.com for it despite it clearly being their issue, continually getting details incorrect, as well as a number of other issues. Worst hotel I've stayed at in the area, would recommend looking elsewhere.
