Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The lift being out of order was not good as we were on the 3rd floor with a very large suite case.
Dinner was included with our stay but we didn’t realize that it was a set menu and really didn’t need that amount of food, so just had dessert - the waitress was wonderful. Maybe it is an England thing, but that was not cheesecake …very disappointing but that may just be a personal preference kind of thing.
Beautiful views and a prefect spot for a one night stop on our way through the area. In a fun kind of way, it gave us a bit of a “Tower of Terrors’ from Disneyland vibe, especially with the lift being out of order…a fun experience.
This hotel is dated. The pictures on Hotel.com are VERY DIFFERENT to the actual place. The room I got was old, grubby. It felt dirty and in need of an upgrade.
The bed was very uncomfortable.
I went for a shower only to find the 2 towels on the rail were not bath towels, I could have dried myself better on a stamp!
The staff were there on a 'couldn't care less basis'. Check in was very matter of fact, no warm welcome just basic questions and handed my key, check out was equally dire!
I won't be staying here again.
