Not what i expected
Booked this hotel because of good reviews. Check in was easy and the staff was very nice. Got to my room and it was warm so decided to put on the ac. Flipped the fan on high and turned the switch to cool. I immediately started getting blasted with hot air making my room hotter. Called the number on the wall for help and it was a private nuber to a personal residence who said people call their number all the time and she wished they would quit. Went down to the front office and told them. They were clueless about the wrong number but would check. As far as the hot air, they said you can either have hot air or cool air (they'd have to manually switch something if i wanted it cool in the room), but i couldn't have both. So if I change it to cool air and it got cold at night, i couldn't get warm air. Hot or cold period. I chose to just turn it off and open my door to get cooler air in from outside. Next the shower was so cramped! I hardly had enough room to soap myself as the shower head is right there and you can't move away from it to soap up. The sink was old and cracked. The beds were comfortable but forget about sleeping with the truck and vehicle noise outside. Also, they shouldn't advertise 'breakfast'. They have a small room with a refrigerator with packaged waffles and bagels. That's it! In a nutshell, i managed but would never bring my husband here. He likes his room cool and would hate the shower as he's a big man. A large man wouldn't fit.
