Fantastic stay once again. Fantastic sunday lunch. Lovely cosy rooms Lounge areas are beautifully designed and all staff are super professional and extremely friendly and you can see that they are happy in their jobs.

A piece of history
I chose Middlethorpe because of its history. It's a lovely old stately home which has been maintained to a high standard. The staff are very welcoming and the beds very comfortable. It's also a very pleasant walk into the centre of York!

Genuinely a fantastic hotel. A real taste of luxury with superb staff in a charming and historic setting. We loved everything about it; the spa, the beautiful grounds, the breakfast, the elegance, the list goes on. We would certainly recommend this to everyone.
