Fabulous little apartment in the heart of Chamonix!
The chalet is located close to everything, restaurants, bus stops and La Brevant ski area. It was perfectly appointed with loads of really lovely little touches, such as tea bags, coffee, sugar, herbs, bin liners, diswasher tabs etc, which saved a big initial shopping trip and made us feel very welcome. We were really happy with our choice of such lovely traditional accommodation. Highly recommended.

Wonderful New Year stay in Chamonix
This is a lovely apartment in a central location, with good sized living space and 3 large double bedrooms. The kitchen area is quite cool with a bar area and a neon Heineken sign ! There is a private parking area right outside the apartment with a garden that is great for young children to build snowmen. There is a ski boot drying cupboard and also a separate drying room, and ski kit can be stored in a storage room near the parking area. The stairs to the upstairs bedroom and mezzanine are quite steep so children need to be supervised. Can’t fault the check in process we arrived very late in the evening and Sylvie was there for us to show us in and to explain how everything worked. Thank you Thierry and Sylvie!

Late September visit to Chamonix
We had a superb experience staying in Thierre’s apartment in Chamonix. It was our first visit to this stunning valley and everything about our stay was above expectations. If it’s available, book Thierre’s apartment at “La Petite Savoyard” - you won’ be disappointed. We looking forward to a return visit, hopefully sometime soon! Tom and Laura from MSP.

Beautiful, well-equipped chalet apartment, short walk to Chamonix centre
We stayed in this beautiful apartment for a week during the UTMB trail running event. It was a short walk to everything we needed - the finish line, race checkin, UTMB Expo, sports stores, restaurants, and buses (for the races that have a bus to the starting line). The view of Mont Blanc from the balcony is spectacular. We had coffee and wine out there most days. The decor has a relaxing chalet feel with comfortable furniture and beds, and lots of wood, art and even cowbells. There is a dining table and a bar with seating around the sides. It's a perfect place to stay with one or two other couples. Everyone has a large room of their own and there is a nice communal area to gather for conversations and meals. The kitchen and the rest of the apartment were very well equipped. We had plenty of dishes, glasses and pots, and we even could have made raclette or fondue! The owner had thoughtfully put champagne and beer in the fridge for us. We had a washer, dryer and drying rack. Laundry soap was provided, which made things easier for us since we didn't have to buy a large package. We were grateful that linens and towels were included. There were many other items in the apartment that we didn't use but it was nice that the owner had thought so much about things that a guest might enjoy during their stay. We opened windows at cooler times of the day to create a breeze since there is no air conditioning, which is common in Chamonix. We kept the skylight shades mostly closed during the sunny part of the day and found the apartment quite comfortable. The stairs to the 2nd floor require some caution and wouldn't be appropriate for people with mobility issues or very young children. Our 4-year-old visitor had no trouble after a little practice. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return to this apartment when we come back to Chamonix some day!

A lovely Apartment close to the centre of Chamonix
We had a fabulous week in Chamonix. Great snow, great skiing, great nightlife and this great Apartment. The Apartment is equipped with everything you need for your comfort and convenience. We had every breakfast and evening meal there. The decor is charming and there is plenty of space for 6 people to relax in the evening. The bedrooms were a good size for the Alps with comfortable beds. The bathrooms appeared newly fitted and very clean. In fact the whole Apartment was spotless! The location is great too. A few minutes walk to the town centre and all that offers. The bus stop for access to the slopes is even closer! Despite being so close to the centre of town, the apartment is far enough away to be quiet at night. Thierry (Host) and Sylvie (Local Contact) were very helpful in the run up to and during our holiday. I have no hesitation in recommending this La Petite Savoyade for a holiday in Chamonix.

Centrally located yet in quiet area. V well equipped. Excellent view of Mt Blanc and Bossons Glacier
We had a great time staying at La Petite Savoyarde. Mr Babey kindly gave us a bottle of champagne and some beer which was much appreciated. The views from the balcony were amazing and as the roof overhangs it we could even enjoy going out there even when it rained. (It was mostly warm and sunny with occasional thunderstorms in the afternoons and nights).The stairs to the mezzanine floor were very steep and took some getting used to. It was a bit too hot on the mezzanine floor. There was mixed communication as to whether it was okay to open the velux windows, the one in the lounge wouldn't open, the one in the top bedroom did (we didn't try the one in the mezzanine lounge - this had great views of Aguille du Midi.) We had fun using the raclette set for one meal and also using the fondue set. We got a 9 day lift pass covering most of our stay - the longer duration you get the better the value. We enjoyed glacier walking and climbing with Peak Powder and also paragliding with the company based near the bottom of Plan Praz lift. Mr Babey and Sylvie were welcoming and very accommodating regarding our odd duration of stay (Monday to Friday) and our times of arriving/ leaving. We recommend this lovely accommodation which is in a great location.
