Basement suite
Basement was run on a 15amp breaker, could not run heater with blow dryer, mold around the bathtub, bugs in the sink (bathroom) but great location. Right across from the Cross Cancer clinic where I was taking chemo and radiation treatments

We enjoyed our stay very much. The unit is a very well appointed basement apartment on a quiet little street just a short walk away from all the action on Whyte Avenue. I have no complaints. It was a good home base while we explored Edmonton

Clean and fairly bright basement suite in an excellent location. One of the beds is very hard and uncomfortable. Otherwise great place to stay.

Great location, communicative owner
Like all basement suites, this one has its quirks. It is small, but well-appointed, and noise from above is inescapable but tolerable. It is clean, safe, and extremely well located. We found the property owner to be very communicative and prompt in resolving a couple of difficulties. It was a great place for a family of four to sleep and eat breakfast while attending events at the university!

Convenience at the expense of comfort
We stayed in the basement while the main floor was rented out. Although we can hear everything from the main floor, guests were both respectful of noise. The neighbourhood is so convenient as everything is accessible through a short walk. Furniture could be improved (the couch was quite uncomfortable and the bed mattress was quite hard). Most houses in this neighbourhood are a bit older, expect that to be the case for this place. But it suited our purpose short-term. And you get what you pay for.
