Okay for 1 day short stay. Would not recommend long stay. The rooms were smelling bad Flies in dining room There was a smell near water machine when I went to refill my bottle. The smell made me feel lack of hygene.

Close to station but means that the room was quite noisy. Kitchenette far too small to cook in. Staff on the desk weren’t super helpful. Breakfast was included and was the best part of the stay.

Great stay yet again! This is my third time staying at the property and I would return. Great dining options nearby. Close to the train station and easily accessible to the airport. The outstanding quality however is the staff who are always friendly and helpful.

Decent budget hotel close to the train station
I booked this hotel mostly due to its proximity to the train station in Florence. When we arrived it was lightly raining, so it was great to have such a short walk (about 2.5 blocks) to access the hotel. We arrived around 11 a.m. after a train trip from Rome. The desk staff was courteous and efficient. There were no rooms yet available (we'd have been surprised if there were) so we checked our bags. When we returned later after some sightseeing, the room was ready. Our room was on the 3rd floor facing the back of the building and was quiet. It was comfortable, but spartan. The room was clean and had plenty of floor space to lay out suitcases. They also cleaned the room daily and provided fresh towels. The shower was of the type Europeans seem to like, where there is only a half shower wall. This tends to result in a lot of water on the bathroom floor unless you are careful. I'm not sure why this is as common as it seems. The hotel's décor theme throughout seemed to be record album covers, often from the 60s - 80s. It was unusual, but interesting. There are a number of restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel. There are a number of restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel. The only disadvantage of its location is that it is on the opposite side of the train station from the historic area. Breakfast (included) was decent. I'd consider staying here again.
