The housekeeping was really odd, over 2 nights we go no clean towels or any cleaning but on the last day we were woken up at 9am to clean our room, even though we were leaving in an hour. The noise from the cleaning in the room next door was absolutely horrendous. We had a fridge with snacks in but wasn’t clear if it was included or chargeable.

Great stay
First visit to Liverpool for nearly 40 years, so was long overdue. Perfect location close to the docks and only a short walk from all the main attractions. It won't be 40 years before our next visit and this hotel will be the perfect choice next time.

Bit good, bit bad
Hotel is lovely, the lady on reception really friendly and it’s well positioned. Decided we would go back to the hotel for a bottle of wine. 2 guys on the bar, one who said he would be with us in a minute and the other that just ignored us. Eventually the ignoring one was told to come and serve us so we asked for a wine list and ordered a bottle, came back and said we haven’t got that MATE! He then walked off and carried on listening to his earbuds…we left! Next morning really busy for brekkie and the previous morning it had been fantastic, 2nd morning very overcooked. All in all we would go back….

Excellent hotel, friendly and helpful staff, conveniently located to the city of Liverpool and everything someone would be looking for; restaurants, museums and shopping. And very fair priced.

Overall good service, clean room and good food. 2 Excellent evening meals with great service, reception and hotel staff gave a warm welcome. Only issue last day breakfast service was disorganised with a 45 min wait for a cooked breakfast with 3 prompts to the staff serving.

Nice weekend get-away
Facilities were good and well maintained except for some of the landing carpets that looked a bit tired. Room was a bit on the small side, but functional and well kept. Shower was very good. Breakfast was ok, but maybe needed a bit more variation in the cold meats and cheese etc. Location was great. Not far to walk for to the docks or city center. Overall a good stay and would come back again.
