Great first impressions but not worth the cost
At first glance the room was amazing but after settling in we found blonde hairs in the beds and one of the plug sockets was hanging off of the wall. The beds in our twin room were very uncomfortable. The door key system was not working so all guests had to be escorted around the building by staff. The hotel is in a very convenient location only a 3 minute walk from the subway. You could not hear any road noise from the room. All of the staff were lovely and I don't blame any of them for the unfortunate condition of the room.

Awful sleep!
Hotel itself appeared clean and staff were friendly and welcoming. My issue is that we only got about 4 hours sleep. There was a broken/faulty light that turned on at 04:00am and wouldn’t turn off. We tried everything. Not wanting to have to get up and dressed to go down to the night porter as we didn’t feel they would be able to solve the problem and the only option would be to move rooms, if one was available , as by the time that would of happened we would have to be getting up to get ready to check out! I advised staff in the morning and they offered me a glass of juice as compensation. I contacted hotels.com and they tried to contact the hotel to see if a refund or partial refund could be made but they needed to speak to the actual hotel for approval and I understand they were unable to do this. I have tried to contact the actual hotel but am still awaiting a reply 5 days on. Another comment: shower door didn’t close properly so ended up having to clean the floor also! All in all. Not great!
