Property was a bit run down. We were put on second floor even though they were notified I was handicapped. The steps up to our room were concrete. Third step from the top was shorter and angled slightly down so it was a tripping hazard. Staff was friendly and helpful. Had to go into another building for ice. No fan in bathroom so after shower the floors became slick .

Great stay
We stay about once a month at Plantation while traveling cross country. Its always a pleasant stay and customer service is always on the point.

While the staff was very friendly, the property is just old and the furniture and bedding is very very cheap. Definitely looks like they tried to do a renovation, but did it on the cheap. However, with all that said, for Memphis, it was a nice get away for the weekend. Wasn’t concerned about crime, and even the leftover food for breakfast was ok. You get what you pay for though!

Just what i needed.
The weather in the Memphis area was wintery and i needed a place to stay that was close to my job. They had reasonable accommodations for reasonable prices so i stayed a night. It suited my purposes nicely.

When I checked in in the evening staff was friendly and understandable. Went in office during day time and the person behind the counter I couldn’t even understand what he was saying you can’t have someone behind counter taking care of customers that don’t speak plain Clear English
