Resort staff were unprofessional and not enthusiastic about helping guests. I would dare use the word lazy. pool was dirty and service was below average. As an example, there was mold in both my bathrooms (Presidential Suite) and it took them until the next day to clean it. Room was also unacceptable as there were missing utensils, and draws, and not enough service. Presidential suite and we were treated like we were bothring them. Unacceptable

This hotel is tranquil without the huzzle and buzzle of the others. The employees are all very kind and helpful. Although the rooms are ok, they need an uplift since there were various things not working properly (eg. Jacucci faucet, shower door do not close appropriately and the floor in front of it was always very wet after taking a bath, the sliding door to the balcony was very hard to move). The food in the restaurants is good but the wait was little longer than expected. Overall, this is a nice place and the exterior gardens and the beach are awesome!

Staff and service were excellent. The property and rooms could use some deep cleaning/updating. Room had multiple wet spots on the floor from leaks/condensation from ceiling. This made the tile floor very slippery. There were areas in the room that were dirty from past guests, especially around the toilet. We did receive prompt housekeeping each day but were not consistently left with sheets to cover the comforter (and were questioning if the comforters were cleaned btwn guests). Had issues with toilet flushing and did not have a warm shower our entire stay. The room itself was huge, loved the balcony, outside jacuzzi and the two sink setup for bathroom and changing room Check in went quick and smooth for group of over 20 showing up at once. We were greeted with an anniversary cake and other party in our group received champagne for honeymoon, both were appreciated touches. Received great service during our stay from the Gabi bar staff- Wilkin, Orquidia, Ivelise, Joana (unsure on exact spelling for names). It was confusing at times which parts of the beach we could use and what restaurants we could eat at outside of the garden suites on the complex. Received somewhat conflicting information from staff when trying to clarify. Because of this, dining options were somewhat limited. Overall, we enjoyed our stay for 5 nights and felt it was a good value for the price paid. The property has the potential to be gorgeous again with the right attention to detail/upkeep.
