Ideal location for airport
We were lucky enough to get an airport view room, so my kids enjoyed watching the planes out of the window. We’ve stayed here a few times due to its location, if we’ve had an early flight. We ate at the restaurant for the first time, good food, all restaurant staff were very friendly. Breakfast has plenty of options to set you up for the day.

Convenient, nice way to start a holiday
Conveniently situated walking distance to the terminal this is howeverr a bit further from the parking than the other hotel at Stansted but the food is better and wine etc much cheaper. If you park in Blue as we did you’ll need to walk past the Raddison Blue and the terminal to get there. But the hotel is in my opinion better, staff friendly, nice layout and altogether a pleasant experience. Plus this hotel doesn’t gouge its ‘captive audience’ customers like the Raddison does.

Decent, could improve
This was meant to be at the airport for a next day early flight. Common areas and restaurant really good, breakfast from 4am really convenient. Room was ok, little crowded, and overall not very clean, toilet seat was too old, shower needed replacement and water was not that strong, bathroom defo needs a little revamp and better cleanliness. Also no fan in the bathroom or not working so was not really pleasant for the other person in the room. For one night overall ok

After waiting an hour to check in, we went to our room, only to find there was no electricity. We had to return to the front desk to get a different room. This room was extremely small, making it difficult to move around. Later, with two kids in tow, we decided to eat at the bar service for dinner, hoping it would be faster. It was already 8:30 PM, and the kids needed to sleep for an early flight. We placed and paid for our order, but they forgot about us. It took one and a half hours to finally get our food. The kids were hungry, tired, and grumpy after a long day of travel. It was a terrible experience, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Moreover, the food seemed like it was just reheated from frozen.
