After reading a few so-so reviews we thought we’d give it a try one night. We were pleasantly surprised our room was clean, big and very pretty with a Small balcony overlooking a clean pool. Due to weather we did not take advantage of the outdoors. We did eat at the on site restaurant and that was very good. Maybe we just lucked out but would def go back again.

We were only at Captain Hyram’s for one night. But, we enjoyed our stay very much. The room was spotless, and appeared to have been recently renovated. The furnishings were stylish, with calming colors. Plus, the mattress and pillows were perfect. I’d like to be able to purchase that exact mattress.

The perfect Florida getaway. Beautifully maintained inside and out. Chilly on my visit but the pool was heated. Very fun. Has the Old Florida feel.
