Room was VERY dusty, could have written your name in the dust above the bed. Lighting in the room and the bathroom area was very poor, it was very difficult to find enough light to do hair/make-up. Otherwise, a very comfortable bed and room, great view and a great shower.

Weekend stay at The Malmaison York.
Our stay at the Malmaison in York was fantastic. The Suite was awesome. The hotel staff were brilliant. The Sora restaurant was beautiful and food was amazing and the young lady that served us was fantastic. We had a couple of issues. When we arrived we had no room and had to wait 1 hour for this as it was getting cleaned. We were looked after for this. Once in the room we had a look round and it was a really nice room. Couple of issues here. The towel rail didnt work,the rug in the room had a corner that had turned up and was a trip hazard and the rug was very slippy under foot. The cleanliness of the room was ok. The walls in the bathroom were dirty and had things all over it. The plug under the table was coming out of the floor. Apart from these few niggles we had an amazing time and will be coming back to York again as we loved it. Thank you Malmaison.
