I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations, please allow me to express my sincerest apologies.Your feedback is very important to us, and I am sorry to hear of your experience. We don't show anything in our log book during your stay. We usually take care of any complaints right away. We did inspect the room in questioned and didn't find any issues that you're referring to. Our staff works hard and they never want anyone to have a bad stay. We know were an older hotel and not always perfect so customer service is always a priority. Yes we are 100% non-smoking and have smoking area's outside. We do have transient guests/families staying from Florida while they are looking for an apartment and we don't profile our guest. We are a reputable hotel and not a drug or crack house which is unfair to say. Thank you for taking the time to write a review pertaining to your April 6th through April 8th stay iun Room 113 at our Travelodge Inn & Suites, Albany Airport. I apologize that your room was not cleaned for two days. Did you report this to our Front Desk Staff? I am particularly concerned as we keep a “Front Desk Log”, which reports any comments (Positive or Negative) made by our guests and there was not any record of your room not being cleaned. We are making major changes in our Housekeeping Staff and procedures, which should eliminate issues such as you experienced. I must confess that I cannot explain why Housekeeping turned off your lights and turned the temperature down. The only reason I can come up with is that they planned on coming back to clean the room and were distracted. This is not an excuse . . just a “possible” explanation. However, I can assure you that our hotel has never had an issue regarding personal belongings being missing. In fact, we have had several incidents where a guest has forgotten a valuable item and the guest was contacted at once. We also have a security system with cameras monitoring the interior and exterior of our hotel. It is our hope that you will grant us an opportunity to show you that we can and . . WILL DO BETTER.
