"This small hotel is the best I have stayed for a long time. The staff is incredibly helpful and willing to please you with answers about any concerns or curiosities you have for the town and close areas. The location is perfect. Cleanliness is spotless. The room was ample and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with abundant and many cold or hot choices. We regret we could not stay more days and enjoy this gem of a hotel in Almunecar. Excellent!"

"A good villa with a few maintanance needs. Would benefit from more lighting in the kitchen and lounge. Silicon sealant on patio doors/windows needs replacing. Overall very good, we stayed for 12 days in March 2025, heavy rain exposed maintanance needs. The team at Grandes Villas were very helpful and responsive."

"We were warmly welcomed by Ute who showed us around the apartment. It is a good size and well equipped, the highlight being the covered terrace with lovely sea view where we enjoyed many meals. We were a little surprised that access is down 25 stone steps from where the car is parked on the road above - this could be a problem for some and should be mentioned. The only oven is the microwave which is now a little dated. Overall however we enjoyed our stay and had a great holiday. "
