Separate cottage one story with screened in porch surrounded by green grass and well manicured. Parking by the cottage. 365 feet of waterfront. Garden is towards the rear of the cottage near separate laundry room, outdoor shower and community propane barbecue. Each cottage has a personal charcoal barbecue.


Local Area

Located on the Northfork of Long Island NY in Wine Country, Fine Dining, Unique Local Shops, Tanger Outlets and Every Day Town Life Shops. Vibrant small and old town feel with many local shops, farm stands to go to, 40 plus wineries to take tours, activities and especially taste the wine, all a few minutes away by car.

Fantastic place

Sweet Little Cabin

We were 3 adults and were comfortable, but not a lot of room to spare - there could be a little less furniture. It's a peaceful setting with beautiful surroundings. The quaint town of Riverhead is close by. Sandy was was a responsive host.

Beautiful place

These cottages are beautiful and we had a lovely experience. Two small issues to address: 1) property manager was not clear on beach pass access. We missed out on a day at the beach because we didn't realize the house came with a pass. This was never communicated to us. 2) if you have a dog, you are going to be told you need to leash the dog at all times outside even if you have your own yard with the house. Not necessarily something we planned for.

Amazing getaway

This was just what we were looking for. The cottage is in a small town with little traffic and few "tourists". So, it was peaceful and we didn't need to wear masks most of the time. We had lots of fun kayaking from the cottage and relaxing in the sun. As others have noted, John and Sandy were wonderful hosts and it was a great spot for our dog. We took several day trips to wineries, outlet mall, North Fork, and South Fork locations. There are so many beaches in the area and they were not crowded. It could not have been a nicer week!

Beautiful, Quiet escape

My girlfriend and I absolutely loved Sandy’s cottage and will certainly be coming back. The cottages are on a quiet river bank in a large and beautifully manicured estate. The history of the land is interesting in itself, but Sandy and her husband have done a great job of making the property very welcoming and enjoyable. It’s well off the main road so very well secluded, The river opens up into the massive bay maybe 100 yards down. The cottage itself was very cozy, we loved the three seasons porch off the back. We will certainly be going again soon
