The location was great and the staff were friendly. I requested housekeeping each day. One day they only changed the towels and took out the trash; the bed was never made. The other days they did not clean at all despite my requesting housekeeping. I even texted the concierge on the line they said I could use, since they texted me before from it to see how I was doing. The restaurant was understaffed and never open. I chose this hotel because it had a restaurant.

This was literally one of the worst Hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The toilet sounded like someone heaving every time you flushed it. There were long black hairs made into my bed under the covers. Stains on the pullout sofa. The outdoor seating is infested with lantern flies. The pool is a bathtub that you can’t even use unless you make a reservation. I didn’t see that anywhere on the listing. They didn’t even have coffee Saturday for the breakfast buffet and it didn’t arrive until an hour after the buffet had closed. I will say some of the staff, Charlotte and Josh in particular were lovely. The worst part, and probably the primary reason I’m even bothering with this review,we didn’t have AC in my room the whole time. When we called, they promised to send a technician right away and no one came. Then the next day when we went downstairs, they did send the technician who said it couldn’t be fixed while we were in the room. when we asked if we would be compensated, they said they could do nothing because we booked through Expedia. They didn’t even offer to swap our rooms. I have asthma and my sister-in-law has high blood pressure, it was literally miserable in there.

We arrived at 4 PM, which is the official check-in time, but our room was not ready. We had to wait another 30 minutes. The lobby was overcrowded, and there was only one person working at the reception desk — the same person also served at the bar. Because of this, every time we had a question, we had to wait in line for 15–20 minutes. Then came the biggest issue: we found a bed bug on the bed. Completely unacceptable. The rooms themselves are old and badly in need of an update. The pool situation was also disappointing — you can’t just go in, you have to reserve a spot. When we finally checked it out, the water was so dirty you could barely see the bottom. We decided not to use it at all. Breakfast was fair, and the location is good, but those were the only positives. Overall, a very poor experience. I cannot recommend this hotel.
