Going out of their way for you

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was great, especially Alisha at the front desk. She went out of her way with other staff members who searched for our lost phone after we had already arrived home. When she called back to say she found it, was such a caring gesture! We then drove back to Orillia to retrieve it and to personally thank her. She made our day. This goes to show that there are still very honest people around and this took this review to the highest level. Thanks again Alisha!

Best Hotel Value Anywhere

Probably the 7th or 8th stay at the Stone Gate Inn. Always have great service and comfort. The staff has always been super friendly and helpful. We look forward to staying at the Stone Gate next time we're in Orillia

Everything was fine until we cam back to are room to shower and get ready for dinner and are card wouldn't open are door the manager said the battery was dead and we had to wait almost one hour for it to be fixed.

The property is old but room is spacey and reasonable. Enjoyed free continental breakfast. wi-fi was weak. Great to have a microwave and 2 door fridge in the room. There were a few cutlery but if they had a fruits knife that would have been handy. When we pulled out the sofa bed we found some left over garbage and piece of food under the sofa.Though I let the staff lady know about it on the way out, hope they didn’t think it was our mess. Overall we had a good stay.

False advetising. They said they had a hottub, they didn't. Continental breakfast was very disappointing. Tables were at knee level and food was just acceptable. There was a hairball left on the edge of the pool all 3 days. Pool was extremely small.

Great place to stay in Orillia!

We were back to stay at the Stone Gate Inn. This is our go-to whenever we come to Orillia. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was perfect. We will be back.
